Just received this press release from Kee:
Kee Action Sports is pleased to announce that they have partnered up with Scout Quest 100. The Greater St. Louis Area Council hosts this once-a-decade event, which this year celebrates the 100th Anniversary of Boy Scouting with an event that will be second only to the National Jamboree in the number of Scouts participating.
Scout Quest 100 takes place from June 4-6th, 2010 at Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri. The encampment will host a variety of challenging and exciting outdoor programs and activities for Scouts of all ages.
KEE Action Sports will be in attendance promoting the Great Day of Play program. Great Day of Play introduces players of all ages to the sport of paintball. During the Scout Quest 100 weekend, KEE will set up a tent to help educate the Scouts and their parents about the rules of the game, equipment necessary to play and provide them with facts about the safety of the sport. In addition, KEE will be setting up an obstacle course for Scouts to participate in hourly contests. Each Scout will have an opportunity to race through the course and shoot a paintball gun while being timed. Those with the fastest times during the day will receive exciting paintball prizes. Coupons to play free paintball at local fields around the US will be given out to anyone who stops by their tent.
Were very excited to have KEE Action Sports as part of our Scout Quest 100 weekend. Paintball, like Scouting promotes and develops team building, leadership skills, strategic planning, and exercise says, Philip Combs, Chairman of Quest for Action for Scout Quest 100.
According to Jason A. Taitano, VP of Marketing at KEE, we will continue to invest time, energy, and money into exposing and growing paintball. Becoming part of Scout Quest 100 was a perfect fit for our Great Day of Play program, as it will allow us the opportunity to educate potential new players and their parents about the basics of the sport that make the sport so much fun and exciting.
