Most people, who try paintball for the first time, would tell stories about the epic battles in the woods. For the ones who became addicted to paintball and continued the weekends of paintball, the next smart buy was some clothes that would give an advantage over other players. Camouflage fatigues found in army surplus stores are a popular choice, also not taking too big of a bite into the wallet. Although military fatigue pants were made for hard fighting soldiers, it seems like the rips and tears from each weekend of playing would never stop. Luckily, the camouflage clothing would be cheap enough to replace. Today, there is an answer for even the toughest of woods ball players. A company called BT aka Battle Tested, has emerged to offer top grade products for players who battle in the woods and dirt every weekend.
BT offers two lines of soft gear, Combat and Professional, with Professional being the higher grade of the two. This review is about the BT Professional pants, priced at $125, and is a tough durable paintball pant made for every woods ball / scenario player in mind. When physically examining the pants, the first noticeable feature is how heavy the pants feel. The material used for the pants is very durable. Next, the knee area has a pad that comes with straps for applying the right comfort spot. The crotch area is also padded to offer protection for the most fragile of parts. Not forgetting the paintball aspect, the pants come with an area for battle swabs. Other notable highlights include adjustable waist straps, belt loops, and rear zippered pockets.
These pants are what paintball has been waiting for. Most players, tournament or recreational started out playing in the woods and can share the complaint of unsuitable pants. These BT Professional pants are already big a hit and will continue to score high with most paintball players. Today, a new trend in tournament paintball players has emerged, in which the use of cargo camo pants with all other tournament gear and clothing. Maybe these pants will start to make their way into tournament paintball pictures and videos. Although a tacky choice for a tournament player, these pants are just as good as any other pant available such as Empire or Eclipse. Big thumbs up to BT for taking a product that is popular among woods ball players and taking it the next notch.
